We're welcoming Darren of Alberta Sweeprite to talk about parkades and membranes. 

Unlike an outdoor parking lot, an underground parkade is integrated into the building envelope itself and requires a different level of understanding to achieve effective asset management.

Discussion covers cleaning cycles and impacts, common traffic deck coating types, suspended concrete slab care along with municipal and provincial fire and safety regulations, Alberta building codes, HVAC and lighting systems and a basic introduction to the various types of sensors and electronic relays specific to parkades.

With the information presented, condominium property managers will be better able to effectively guide their boards helping them to evaluate the options and chose the most appropriate systems and management practices for their particular building.
